The Story
Enhancing Maddie’s Confidence
I always felt like my boobs were not in proportion to the rest of my body. As I grew up, I noticed my hips and bum were growing and getting wider, but my boobs never caught up. The older I got, the more I wanted to balance my body shape out by getting a breast augmentation.
I had been researching breast augmentations since I turned 18, and I always knew it was something I would end up doing. I decided to give myself enough time to research the procedure so I was fully aware of the risks involved, as well as my desired outcome. In May 2021, I came for my first consultation with Dr.Mudera. I was blown away by how informative the whole team were, and it was discussed in detail exactly what my desired results were and how they could be met.
I came away from my consultation feeling excited, however, due to personal circumstances, I decided it would be best to wait a further year for a final consultation. In March 2022, after a full year of research and speaking with Enhance patients, I came back to Dr.Mudera for one last consultation and ended up paying my deposit the same day. After many years of researching, I finally decided that Enhance fitted my needs perfectly and made me feel at ease with the information they provided.

As I had a 1-year gap between my consultations, I wanted to keep myself as informed as possible about the process. Throughout this year, I spoke with many of the Enhance boob buddies who gave me amazing advice from how to prepare, to what to expect on the day. In addition to this, once I booked with Enhance, my PCC was on hand to always answer any important questions I had, which was great for me, as I have a tendency to overthink! The after-care was fantastic and I always knew Enhance would be there should I have any worries. I’m grateful my journey went so smoothly with Enhance.

Top tips for people wanting surgery
Make those close to you aware of the aftercare needs: Making my partner aware of the aftercare procedure made my recovery 10X easier. He was always on hand if I needed help standing up, or help taking my pain relief.
Trust the process: The healing process can take a few months until you see your final result! Don’t panic!
Do your research: Take your time in researching which surgeon will be right for you. Speak to patients of that surgeon to get the best idea of what your journey will look like.
Invest in a travel pillow: Sleeping upright after surgery is so important. Having a memory foam travel pillow to prop myself up made sleeping far more comfortable.
