About Mr Shalabi

Mr Mohamed Shalabi is an experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon with extensive specialist training in reconstructive, oncoplastic and aesthetic surgery. He brings more than 15 years of diverse clinical experience across leading hospitals in the UK, Middle East and Europe, with expertise spanning breast surgery, microsurgery, body contouring, and complex reconstructive procedures.

Mr Shalabi completed his medical degree in Alexandria, Egypt, followed by a Master’s degree in Surgery and multiple advanced qualifications including Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Glasgow. His surgical development includes specialist fellowships in breast microsurgery, oncoplastic breast surgery, trauma reconstruction and general plastic surgery at renowned institutions such as the Royal London Hospital, Queen Victoria Hospital and University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire.

He has held consultant and senior surgical positions at multiple UK hospitals, including Royal London, Queen Victoria Hospital and Colchester Hospital NHS Trust. He currently practises as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Pemberdeen Clinic and continues ad-hoc consultant work within the NHS.

Mr Shalabi is committed to excellence in patient care, surgical safety and achieving natural, refined aesthetic outcomes. His background includes significant experience in breast reconstruction, free-flap microsurgery, aesthetic breast procedures, liposuction, abdominoplasty, body contouring and facial aesthetic surgery. He is also actively involved in clinical research, teaching, and presenting at national and international plastic surgery conferences.
