Experience

Mr Awad has extensive experience in plastic surgery, with over 18 years of experience. He qualified in Cairo University, with honours and completed 5 years of plastic surgery training there. In the UK, he refined his experience in highly respected centres of excellence in plastic surgery. He completed 3 senior fellowships in microsurgery and breast, reconstructive surgery and aesthetic and cosmetic surgery. He has been a full-time consultant plastic surgeon in the NHS for 6 years, specialising mainly in breast reconstruction, microsurgery and breast corrective surgeries, alongside skin cancer and general plastic surgery. He is well recognised for his patient centred approach and attention to details.

Mr Awad has extensive experience in breast corrective procedures such as breast augmentation, reduction, mastopexy and breast asymmetry, as well as gynecomastia correction. He has also got extensive experience in body contouring, abdominoplasty, liposuction, arm lift and thigh lift. His extensive training and practice gave him a solid experience in otoplasty (prominent ear correction) and facial cosmetic surgeries.
Mr Awad has a number of national and international presentations on breast surgeries and conditions, as well as different aspects of plastic surgery. He has a number of publications and is keen on audits, quality improvement projects and training younger plastic surgeons.
