Sheikh Ahmad

Mr. Ahmad became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1993. He has trained at some of the most prestigious institutions in the UK and contributed to groundbreaking developments in the world of breast surgery. He’s an innovative, progressive cosmetic & plastic surgeon, with a keen interest in research and developing his own knowledge, which allows him to offer his clients the most effective, reliable surgical procedures available.

He spent three years in St. James’s University hospital in Leeds, working in an extremely busy breast unit gaining experience in breast cancer surgery and cosmetic procedures, including breast augmentations and breast reductions. He gained significant experience in autologous reconstruction techniques, at the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff, where he worked with professor Robert Mansel, who holds an international reputation for his contribution towards modernising the field of breast surgery. At Singleton University Hospital in Swansea, Mr. Ahmad undertook a fellowship (All Wales Oncoplastic Fellowship) in oncoplastic breast surgery, working alongside plastic surgeons in Cardiff to consolidate and further develop techniques for reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery. He was the first surgeon to successfully perform one-stage delayed breast reconstruction with a permanent implant using Strattice™ (biological mesh), a technique that has the advantage of preventing further operations following surgery for breast cancer.
