George Filobbos
Overview
George Filobbos is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon, and the Clinical Lead for the Plastic Surgery Department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Mr George Filobbos is a very experienced UK trained plastic surgeon with a wide experience in Cosmetic, Plastic and reconstructive procedures. George undertook his plastic surgery training in the UK, and during his training he was awarded multiple National TIG (Training Interface Group) Fellowships specialising in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Extremity Reconstruction and Skin Oncology. He gained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery (FRCS Plast) in 2016 and he is on the GMC specialist register for plastic surgery.
George has published extensively in plastic surgery with over 30 research articles, and he has presented his work at multiple international academic conferences. He holds Masters degrees in Surgery and Wound Healing, and he is the senior author of a plastic surgery textbook.
George provides expert care in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, from breast procedures, body contouring to facial cosmetic surgery. He takes pride in his rapport with patients, always listening to patients’ priorities and working with them to achieve their goals.
